Been burdened by school and work a bit. Not much time to get spiritual. I missed the supermoon, didn't do any ritual.
My tarot cards came in the mail a while back. Might need to properly smudge them or cleanse somehow. I guess I could meditate more as well.
These are just cheap ones from China that I was planning to use for craft purposes... dunno if I could do that ? But what is the point of having two decks ?

Feeling witchy this morning! And by witchy I mean empowered etc happy things.
There hasn't been a lot going on, because blogger took their app off the market and I like to update on-the-go.
I am pretty blessed. The air is crispy with promise of winter.
I love the star shape even though I haven't been interested in constellations on the sky.
Been trying to get some Wicca groups more active, but it really depends on the people. And studying for these things is a life long task.

I'm doing a book essay/PowerPoint presentation at school for English about a children's fantasy book...

I don't know... my monetary life seems to have been lifted from it's curse, or I only dreamt it was so bad. Would plan a wedding, if i had any money.

I would love some lavender bouquets and a lavender coloured nice dress... if there would be ~50 people it would cost 3,500€ to organise the party in a hotel. Impossible is, that.

Tomorrow waking up early and going to do cleaning... it'll last two weeks.

No constellations for any of my *star* ideas

Been busy at school, though I'm still young, I have no clue what to do in later life.
Tomorrow I get to make creme brûlees at school! I have been getting to know myself in a working/studying world, but been putting my spiritual thoughts at rest mainly... I mean, I asked myself, how often do I talk to my gods? Is it just protection but also worshiping the fertlity...

Anyways, I'm a witch and there is no way around such nonsense (as some people might call it, because they wouldn't know better.)

Meditate on this, I will.

It's new moon

I would love to do a spell to my knees and heal how they rattle when I try to do squats, but I guess I must lose weight first. Or, at least I read the new moon in Capricorn would be great time for any spells of that sort.
I did a chocolate cheese cake today. My belly is itching like crazy, but at least I'm not the only one suffering this. I've seen a lot of obese people on youtube etc tv, and they had marks on their bellies like mine.
I've started adding black pepper to foods... mainly because it's a protective spice, but also many reasons like aiding digestion etc. I ate a soup today with a lot of tabasco and black pepper... maybe too much actually. I need to lose 11kg before end of May.
I'm listening to some witchy music on youtube while I'm writing this! I hope I had a beautiful voice or my nose wasn't blocked so I could sing a bit, too... I need my voice, my breath, to call out to the powers of the universe... If I couldn't, I'd have to state my desire in my head as thoughts, I guess.
I would meditate a little bit now. I am able to empty my mind nowadays. You just have to look with your third eye, consciousness moved to the eyes and keep it there... all the worries will be in your mind, but you can let the gods to work it out?

Book update

Ordered Night of the Wishes from an old books shop online in my own language... It's a children's book from Michael Ende.

It got me started on wanting to being a witch. I've been guided since about Wicca...for example hearing a radio interview of them even though I didn't listen much to radio when I was a teen.

I will review the lovely book when it arrives. I ordered a copy in English too.

Sickness isn't just yuck but it's eek, too

Bought some expensive drops for my flu today. It is so cold outside, it feels like -30C and you've got to wear

• three layers of everything and 
• a proper beanie and 
• a scarf 
• and gloves.

I'm more of a summer person. I couldn't move to Alaska to shoot bears or something.

The Pentagram

The Pentagram is a symbol used by most Witches, Wizards, Wiccans, and Pagans. In its simplest form it is a five-pointed star drawn in an unbroken line. Such a star within a circle is the most popular and recognized symbol of modern Witchcraft. In ancient Babylon, the pentagram represented the Star of Ishtar (Venus). For Pythagoreans, it was a symbol of health. For early Christians, it represented the five senses, or the five wounds of Christ. However, occult writers like Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa again popularized it in its Pythagorean form during the Renaissance. Eliphas Levi and other 19^th century occultists held that the pentagram symbolized the four elements of matter, with spirit over all. For Levi, the pentagram represented the human microcosm, or tiny universe. An encircled pentagram is also known as a pentacle, and is used on tarot cards and altars to represent the Element of Earth. When placed in a window, or worn as a pendant, the pentagram repels evil. In ritual, pentagrams are drawn to both invoke and devoke the elements.

The inverted pentagram, with two points up and one point down, has been called evil by many occultists and non-occultists alike. But, that is not always the case. An upside down pentagram is reminiscent of the head of a goat with horns and a beard, so some witches use it that way to depict the Horned God, Pan. Aleister Crowley used the inverted pentagram in his Thelemic system to represent the descent of spirit into matter. Witches who have reached the Second Degree in the Gardnerian Tradition wear the pentagram with two points up as a reminder that their spirit and will are still subservient to matter, and that they will have to face their own darkness before attaining the Third Degree. However, the inverted pentagram has gotten so much press time as an evil symbol that a lot of witches won’t wear it in public.

There are pentagrams that appear in nature. A form of sea urchin known as a sand dollar looks like a pentagram with slightly rounded points, and is a particularly lucky thing to find on the beach. Sea stars, of course, present us with a wonderful variety of natural pentagrams. Cutting an apple horizontally reveals that the shape of the seed cavity is a pentagram. Finally, the path that the planet Venus takes, as observed from Earth, makes a beautiful form of pentagram that looks like a gently pointed five leaf clover inside overlapping concentric circles; it is called the Pentagram of Venus.

Burning up

I have gotten ill. This too, shall pass. Right now in bed doing nothing. My throat is sore, may have fever... diarrhea was pretty unpleasant as well.

Fame and perfect love

We have a wall in home that has tulip wallpaper. I was drawn to this flat because of the wall.

Does anyone remember the chant from the movie The Craft, "In perfect love and perfect trust"? Well it it's older than that, but definately not Hollywood's.

I used to have a mood theme on my livejournal that was from the Craft movie, and one was from the Puppet episode, in Angel. They made some pretty good movies in 1996.

I was given an advice last night to take blogging as a chore so I wouldn't detest it, but I love to force the little connections in my brain to produce something, which is nice.

I'm getting drunk on punch we're making for newyears. I am yet to write any resolutions down anywhere, but maybe if I just committed to something for months to come inside my head and there wasn't a need to write anyhing down. I'll be the same after the year has changed, after all...

New Year's Eve x

Good morning. I was packing in my dreams, again. It was books and all sort of stuff from my little ponies to occult things, and I was on a cruise ship that was leaving. I woke up after I saw the bookshelf full of books I had to choose from as it was getting heavy to carry everything.

That's what I probably do all night in my dreams. It may mean there are big changes coming, or I don't know.

Here's a picture I saw on Instagram by the way. My fiancé doesn't sleep well on full moon, he claims. Maybe plan ahead?
